A Word From the PG Almoner
Firstly, I give you a warm welcome to the Almoners page on our Provincial website.
Over many many years now the Almoners in our Province have made a substantial contribution whether it be visiting the sick, fundraising for our annual events or donating to worthwhile charities.
Visiting those in times of need is not easy but nevertheless very rewarding. The human spirit in times of trial is truly remarkable and it can be uplifting for an Almoner when carrying out their duties to witness this.
Every year at Installation time it is often hoped the Almoner of the Lodge has a quiet year in Office however with an ageing demographic this is not always possible.
The Office of Almoner plays an important role in extending brotherly love and relief and long may that continue
