A Word From the New PG Almoner
Brethren,
One of the quiet strengths of Freemasonry is the care we extend to one another,
especially in times of need. The work of the Almoner is not always visible, but it is
deeply felt by those who receive support, guidance, or simply a listening ear when
life becomes difficult.
I am looking forward to working with all Daughter Lodge Almoners in the Province,
encouraged by the compassion shown by them and Brethren alike. Whether it be
offering practical assistance, helping a brother or his family navigate challenging
circumstances, or ensuring that no one feels forgotten, this work reflects the very
best of our Masonic values.
I would encourage all brethren to remain mindful of those around them. A kind word,
a discreet enquiry, or timely communication with your Lodge Almoner can make a
real difference. Support is always available, and seeking help should never be seen
as a weakness.
My sincere thanks go to the Lodge Almoners and all brethren who give their time and
care so generously. Your efforts strengthen our Lodges and uphold the principles
upon which our Order is founded and long may that continue.

Almoners Fayre
2026 Almoners' Fayre will be held within the premises of Lodge Polkemmet No 927 on Saturday 18th April 10am - 2pm.
If anyone/group/company would like to book a table to sell their wares then please contact myself on the email address below for more information, but be quick as tables will go fast.
Please feel free to copy, paste and share this event. All money raised will go to the Almoners' fund which in turn will be distributed to those in most need in our local communities.
